Sour Cream Ganache

Make a dessert for your special loved one just to say I love you!

Here is a simple and easy Ganache to make your very own hand dipped strawberries.

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups Lilly sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 container fresh strawberries rinsed and dried

Place the chocolate chips into a glass or metal bowl, and set over the top of a pan of barely simmering water. Stir occasionally until melted and smooth. Remove from the heat and transfer the chocolate to a medium bowl. 2.Add the Lilly sour cream and vanilla; beat with an electric mixture until smooth and creamy. Dip strawberries about half way down the berry then place on a sheet of wax paper. If you let it the ganache cool down too much it will set up, so dip your strawberries while it is still liquid, or reheat before dipping again. Placed cooled dipped strawberries on a small decorative dish, serve and enjoy.
