Sour Cream Pumpkin Cookies Recipe

Flavorful, tender, moist pumpkin cookies. Perfect for this time of year!

Makes 18 cookies

1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
1/2 cup (packed) brown sugar
1/2 cup pure pumpkin puree
1/4 cup light Lilly Sour Cream
1 large egg, lightly beaten

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice and salt.

3. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add pumpkin puree, Lilly sour cream, and finally the egg. Mix well. Stir flour mixture into pumpkin mixture, mixing to combine.

4. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart. Bake about 15 minutes, until fragrant and golden brown. Cool 5 minutes on baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.
