Sour Cream Brownies Recipe

Nothing says Valentine’s Day like chocolate! These moist, chocolaty brownies are the perfect dessert for your Valentine’s Day dinner.

Makes 16 brownies

1 teaspoon butter for pan
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup LILLY sour cream
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease an 8-inch square pan with butter.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, LILLY sour cream and vanilla extract. Gradually stir in the dry ingredients.

4. Transfer the batter to the prepared pan. Bake 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

5. Cool 30 minutes in pan before slicing and serving.
