Beef Tacos

beef tacos

Our easy and flavorful tacos are ready in less than 30 minutes! Serve them on Cinco de Mayo, or on any night for a quick, easy weeknight dinner.

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 pound ground beef
3 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons ground coriander
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
8 Taco shells
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup LILLY Sour Cream
1 cup salsa

1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the oil. Add the onion and beef. Cook, breaking up the meat into smaller chunks, until meat is cooked through, about 8 minutes. Drain.

2. Stir in the garlic, chili powder, cumin, coriander, salt, pepper and cayenne. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute, then add the tomato sauce. Turn heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.

3. Spoon the meat mixture into taco shells. Top with sour cream and shredded lettuce and serve with salsa.
