Sour Cream Chocolate Pancakes

Chocolate Pancakes

Big, fluffy chocolate pancakes, made richer and tastier thanks to Lilly Sour Cream.

Makes 18 pancakes

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup Lilly Sour Cream
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, baking powder and baking soda.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, Lilly Sour Cream, milk and vanilla.

3. Slowly pour the liquid mixture over the dry mixture, mixing with a spatula to combine.

4. Heat a griddle over medium heat. Spray with nonstick spray. Pour pancakes onto griddle, measuring a scant 1/4 measuring cup per pancake. Cook 3 minutes on each side, until puffed and cooked through.

5. Serve with warm chocolate sauce.
